Sea Ray Owners Club (SROC), the marine industrys oldest and largest boating-related owners club, continues to exceed the expectations of its membership with yet another exclusive event: BahamaFest 2012, a four-day, three-night event to be held at the world-famous Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas, from June 24-27, 2012.
At BahamaFest 2012, Sea Ray will host multiple VIP events with food and beverages each night, as well as a bon voyage breakfast on the final morning. In addition, all Sea Ray owners who come to the event will receive discounted resort rates, VIP areas at the beach and pool, full access to all resort activities and amenities, and more. MarineMax, the worlds largest dealer of Sea Ray boats and yachts, will be running a Rendezvous in conjunction with BahamaFest 2012 for those customers who want to have their boats in the marina at Atlantis.
We had an opportunity to partner our world-class boats with a world-class resort like Atlantis make a world-class event that our owners wanted. Our customers asked for it, and we delivered. It was that simple, said Rob Noyes, vice president of marketing at Sea Ray. The event is exclusive to Sea Ray owners, dealers, Sea Ray staff and a small number of strategic sponsors. VIP reservations are extremely limited and on a first-come basis, in which each attendee pays his or her own way. We actually developed a large focus group of our owners that helped us select the location and venue, pick a date, and work through the menus. We already have the majority of these owners ready to book and experience what they helped create, said Chandler B. Greene, executive director of SROC. We expect this inaugural event to sell out and grow into one the largest annual events held in the Bahamas.
BahamaFest 2012 reservations will be opened on Oct. 1, 2011, and will close once the event has been filled.
