As the 2010 boating season comes to an end, the winds of change are kicking up.  We had a wonderful season weather wise and it was great to see the pool and clubhouse so busy.  We thank you for your support and participation. 

Last night, we had our last meeting with Hurst Marina as a Boaters' Association.  It was indicated to us that management is going to plan and coordinate all events.  In addition, all functions of the "Boaters' Association" will be run and managed by the marina going forth. 

In the spring, the marina will be issuing new parking passes, new access codes and establishing new rules for access and use of the pool and clubhouse.  We no longer have keys to the pool enclosure.  Next year, the extended hours we negotiated with Hurst should be satisfactory for everyone. 

We've enjoyed representing you, the Hurst Marina Boaters, during the past 5 years and are proud of the work we've done to improve the boating experience at Hurst.   

Finally, suggestions, comments and concerns should be forwarded to the dockmaster or appropriate marina staff.  Thanks again for you support and we look forward to boating with you next year!
