About your rental

Your Pontoon boat is moored at Hurst Marina on the Rideau River and ready to go when you arrive! Boats are cleaned prior to your arrival and you start your day with a full tank of gas.

Hurst Marina is located on the Rideau River with 40km of navigable waters to explore from Burritts Rapids to the south to the Long Island Locks to the north. You will discover beautiful scenery, beaches and plenty of places to stop (The Village of Manotick & Restaurants) and enjoy all that river has to offer. You are also welcome to enjoy the many amenities available at our marina: Free Wifi, Swimming Pool, Hot Tub, Washrooms & Showers.

  • Boats are equipped with all required safety equipment. One lifejacket per adult is provided, however, we do not supply lifejackets for small children. Children must have their own properly fitted lifejackets with them
  • Boats are equipped with a depth finder
  • Boats are equipped with a Bimini top to keep you protected from the sun.
  • Pleasure Craft Operator Card (Boating Licence) from your home province or state is required. Click here for an online course.
  • Valid Drivers Licence required
  • $3,500 security deposit required
  • Minimum age: 25
  • Boat is to be refuelled and inspected at the end of rental period. Renters are responsible for fuel and any damage or loss to the equipment or boat.
  • No alcohol, No pets, No towing or BBQ's allowed on board any rental boat

Our Cancellation Policy

All cancellations made 5 days prior to rental will receive a full refund (Less the $25.50 booking fee) or rebooking. All cancellations made less than 5 days prior to rental are non-refundable and not eligible for rebooking. There is no refund or rebooking for inclement weather.

Hurst Marina reserves the right to cancel your booking on the day of rental if it deems the conditions unsafe, in which case you will be able to rebook on at a later date.
Hurst Marina reserves the right to substitute another boat for your rental period in the case of mechanical issues.

If a boat incurs damage during the rental period and can no longer be operated, there will be no substitution or refund. If a propeller or lower unit is damaged during the rental period, it is the customer's responsibility to pay for new replacement parts, for any towing of the boat, and for the time required to repair the damage.

All rebookings are final and no refunds or changes will be permitted.
